Vernier Ludique

The Ludothèques of Vernier will present their own selection with games coordinators available for rules explanations.
The Jeunesse de Vernier association will hold a refreshment stall and the Épee à Deux Nains boardgames store will be there.

The festival is free and open to all. Age limit: 8 years old (Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm: 4 years old).

Main programme ( Saturday, 1pm-7pm and Sunday, 1pm-5pm)

• Learn games selected by boardgames libraries and the public - Open tables with games hosted by Vernier's four boardgames libraries and enthusiasts. Would you like to host a game? Get in touch with our boardgames libraries!
• Introduction to trading card games - Try-out games and expert explanations of titles such as Lorcana, Pokémon, Altered and Star Realms.
• Initiation to role-playing - Introductory games to Dungeons and Kittens, a role-playing game for all ages. Registration required (on site).
• TowerUp tournament - Come and try this strategic investment game in the presence of creators Sébastien Pauchon and Grégoire Largey (on Saturday). The tournament is organised by publisher Monolith and hosted by Frédéric Henry, author of TimeLine and Les Bâtisseurs. The finals will be played on a giant version of the game!
• L’Épée à 2 Nains tournaments - The local shop will be hosting a number of tournaments featuring the latest games selected for the occasion, as well as previews.
• Tomorrow's games - Free-access tables where you can try out a range of games being created by regional creators.
• Imaginarium Dice - Limited edition hand-crafted dice, with live demonstrations.

• Giant werewolf - "" is a fun, more accessible alternative to the classic werewolf, with up to 10 players simultaneously taking part to the game.

Saturday's games night programme ( 7pm - midnight)

• Open tables - A selection of games and tables provided by Vernier's boardgames libraries.
• Games bar - Blind tests and party games by the local games bar L'Oasis.

Sunday family programme ( 10 am to 1pm)

A play area specially designed for 4-8 year olds - The Châtelaine and Libellules Ludothèques are preparing a special selection of games for the little ones to discover with their families. Decoration created by the children of the Châbal MQJR.
