OPENING - SYNTH LIVE w/ SERGEI LEONOV

This year, the festival invites you to take a fabulous plunge into the world of synthesizers and electronic instruments, with a brand new playroom presented in collaboration with SMEM (Swiss Museum for Electronic Music): THE OPEN SYNTH LAB.

On Thursday 1 May, from 6pm to 10pm, the SMEM team will be taking over L'Abri to help you discover the secrets of these incredible instruments that have transformed the world of music. On the evening of the vernissage, you'll have the chance to explore, listen to and feel the vibrations of these fascinating machines during a public presentation in the company of experts in the field.

Starting at 8pm, L'Abri's resident artist Sergei Leonov will take you on an unforgettable visual and aural journey with e deRanged.xe. This exclusive performance is the fruit of his encounter with percussionist and drummer Alexandra Bellon and the design duo PixelDV. Together they will weave an experience where music, image and technology merge into a poetic and avant-garde whole.
