In the middle of the 18th century, Diderot and D'Alembert embarked on the greatest publishing project of their time: the "Encyclopédie raisonnée des arts, des métiers et des sciences". Voltaire contributed, not without controversy... We take a look back at this monumental project and the impact of the sulphurous philosopher.
