The WE'RE HERE trilogy examines the successive consequences of relationships between lovers, friends and the collective in a crescendo that raises the limits of language and our understanding of ourselves among others. This sentimental, embodied theatre invokes the expression of our rebellions as well as our joys, and stirs up the fighting forces necessary for the bonds that are ours. Exploring the fields of struggle and communication, Lola Giouse says as much about the group of friends on stage as she does about the common battles to come.
