When oxytocin does the tango

Unprecedented lecture on the link between tango and oxytocin, followed by a tango ball (milonga).

Gros plan sur les jambes et les pieds entrelacés d'un couple dansant le tango

Oxytocin plays a key role in social bonds, trust and emotional well-being, making it a fascinating subject for understanding human interaction.
Tango dancers have often heard of the term oxytocin, yet the link with tango dancing has never been established. This talk is therefore an original response, a form of research into the link between tango and oxytocin, from its production in the hypothalamus to its effects on body and mind.
Lecture by Corinne Giroud-Sartori (science teacher at Collège du Léman, organizer of the Fresque du Climat and Mindfulness Teach.b certified), followed by a tango ball (milonga).
