Water activities for everyone
Sports & fun on the lake
In Geneva, the lake is a vast playground for lovers of water sports, fun and relaxation. Why not rent a paddle board at the Tropical Corner or at Plage du Reposoir for an escapade on the water? If you’re more of a windsurfer or a wakeboarder, you can take lessons at the Tropical Corner or rent your own board. For wakeboarding, head to Quai Gustave-Ador just after the Jet d’Eau at Wake Up for a sports outing. For pedal boat enthusiasts and sunbathers, Les Corsaires offers a range of small pedal boats for hire, including one with a slide to jump into the water and cool off.
Try Windsurf or Stand Up Paddle sessions and enjoy a stunning view of Geneva’s lakefront!
The Reposoir Beach invites you to spend a relaxing hour dipping toes into the water!

Adventure on the Arve and the Rhône
Discovering Geneva’s rivers is a unique experience. Rafting on the Arve is not only fantastic for thrill seekers, but you will also have close and personal contact with nature, including waterfalls, rapids and calmer areas where you can dive into the water.
A slightly gentler way to explore the river is by canoe rafting with inflatable boats, which are stable and easy to handle in all situations. Choose a guide or go it alone down the Rhône for 2-3 hours (7 or 12 km).
Rafting on the Arve river
Rafting-Loisirs proposes you to descend the Arve: a river which arrives from the Mont Blanc glacier and crosses Geneva on a course of 7 km until the Rhone at the point of the Jonction.
kayaking down the Rhône with a guide
The kayak is a wonderful boat for discovering the lovely banks of the Rhône river, in silence and contemplation. A pure moment of happiness.
Canoeing down the Arve River
A real river rodeo because it is smaller and therefore less stable than a raft, the Canoe Raft will give you sensations and total autonomy.
