Cité Library

Located in central Geneva, the Bibliothèque de la Cité links the Old Town to the central commercial district of the Rues-Basses. Its design is modern. Its light shafts and massive use of glass give the building a wonderful transparency. The absence of doors between floors creates spacious areas. The four coloured rings which mark the different floors and are reflected in the mirrored ceiling are also a highlight.
