A small, cosy theatre with a friendly atmosphere.
More than 50 years ago, on the initiative of a resident of Cologny, an old press house, which later became a vegetable cellar, was transformed into a theatre. Cocteau, Chekhov, Tardieu, Garcia Lorca and many other poets and writers frequented this unique theatre, in which "welcome" was not an empty word. Since 1990, the son of the founder, Bénédict Gampert has brought this small theatre back to life along with Anne Vaucher. Cosiness and a spirit of conviviality influence the programme.
