Recognized as one of the leading jazz pianists on today’s scene, and with more than 150 albums to his credit, Alfio Origlio has collaborated with artists such as Sting, Bobby McFerrin, Gregory Porter, Michel Jonasz, Didier Lockwood, Stéphane Eicher, Henri Salvador and Michel Legrand. His duo with Swiss drummer Marc-Olivier Savoy (Fred Wesley, Erik Truffaz, the Suisse Romande Big Band) moves effortlessly between jazz, classical music and improvisation.
In the opening set, discover two promising young talents. Beyond their family bond, the Klopfenstein brothers share the same musical standards and the same passion for jazz, balancing tradition, exploration and freedom.
