During a visit to the colonial/decolonial collections at the Geneva Museum of Ethnography, LIKAMBOTE offers a safe, welcoming and supportive space.
What is LIKAMBOTE?
A programme of therapeutic activities in a museum setting, where each participant can:
- Experience a space that fosters listening and self-respect,
- Share their experiences and perspectives, knowing they will be heard and valued,
- Affirm and strengthen their position in a predominantly white society,
- Be aware of their ability to make decisions and take action based on their own agency
