Carte blanche for the Belcea Quartet

At lunchtime, the Midis du lundi series at HEM brings together teachers and students in a rich and diverse chamber music program. A musical breath of fresh air offered in the middle of a working day.

In residence at HEM this year, the Belcea Quartet combines passion, precision, and expressive intensity. The four members of the quartet will perform Webern’s iconic Five Pieces for String Quartet, and will then be joined by pianist Ekaterina Bonyushkina to play the Piano Quintet, a rare work by Weinberg.
