Beth and Patricia, mother and daughter from Cape Verde living in Geneva, are bound by a musical passion that runs through the family. Beth has been composing and playing since childhood, while Patricia sings with a soulful voice. Their collaboration gave birth to Miss Sodadi (2018), a heartfelt album steeped in memories of Praia. Joined by top-tier musicians, including Nando Andrade, former musical director for Cesária Évora, they reimagine the archipelago’s musical traditions with tenderness and originality, carrying forward a family story written in song.
