A son and his mother travel to South America following the grandfather's traces to try to overcome an old family trauma. In their quest, they will be confronted with the violence of their heritage, linked to the Swiss grandfather's work in cocoa plantations. It's in the closed setting of their hotel room that the ambiguity of their relationship is revealed, opening the breach of a hallucinatory narrative.
