On 21 December 2025 at 5 pm, Geneva Cathedral presents three cantatas (I, III, VI) from J.S. Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, with Ensemble Vocal Pierre de Lune and Ensemble Instrumental Romand.

A major work by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750), the Christmas Oratorio is made up of six cantatas. This concert will feature three of them, Nos. I, III and VI, which depict the birth of Jesus, the adoration of the shepherds and the adoration of the Magi.
Emmanuel Junod conducts the Ensemble Vocal Pierre de Lune from Geneva and the Ensemble Instrumental Romand, with distinguished soloists:
