The Philharmonie de la Genève Internationale, accompanied by the IHEID Choir and with the exceptional participation of the Ganda Boys, presents the concert Danses du Monde (Dances of the World).

Dances of the World takes you on a journey through rhythm, colour, and emotion. More than a concert, it is a musical crossing of continents — a celebration of the cultures that have inspired some of the most powerful works in the classical repertoire.
From the fiery Spain of Georges Bizet and Manuel de Falla, to the Slavic spirit of Antonín Dvořák and Alexandre Borodine, from the Nordic landscapes of Jean Sibelius to the driving force of South American Malambo, each piece reflects the heartbeat of a people and tells a story in motion. Rhythms shift, orchestral colours unfold, and traditions meet — dance becomes a universal language.
Led by the Philharmonie de la Genève Internationale, these worlds come together in a rich, dynamic musical experience.
