With Prayer & Sin, Dafné Kritharas blends Greek and French in a unique musical universe, where Middle Eastern influences meet jazz, classical music and electronic sounds.

In January 2025, the journey began with a 20-date tour, every performance selling out. The next step was Prayer & Sin, an album released last October. This 12-track gem, widely praised by critics, paved the way for an extensive tour that confirmed Dafné Kritharas as one of today’s most exciting live performers.
Through original songs in Greek and French, the singer unveils a unique and unclassifiable musical world, blending Middle Eastern influences with jazz and classical music, all touched by an unusual electronic sound that is at times unsettling, festive, or both at once. She opens the doors to a Greece that is deeply rooted yet entirely personal, singular and free. Beyond forms, customs, traditions and habits, she sings of a better world—the one an artist brings into being through song.
The world of Prayer & Sin is radiant, comforting and crystal clear: joyful dances, sublime mourning, and vast vessels of bittersweet melancholy. It is a journey through the captivating geography of an extraordinary soul.
