4.6 km for 4.6 billion years: a Deep Time Walk at the Vallon de l’Allondon on April 19 (9:45 am–1:30 pm), an immersive experience to shift perspective on the present. Ages 15+.

The Deep Time Walk is an immersive experience that invites participants to journey through Earth’s history… by walking.
Along a 4.6 km route, each metre represents one million years. Step by step, participants move through the major stages of our planet’s evolution, from its origins to the present day. This embodied and sensory approach offers a chance to step back, expand our sense of time, and gain a fresh perspective on ourselves and the world we live in.
The walk alternates between moments of storytelling, silence, and shared reflection, engaging both body and mind.
Two groups are offered: one in English and one in French
Start at 9:45 am at the Allondon Nature Centre. Return to the same location around 1:30 pm.
Registration required. Ages 15+.
Pay-what-you-can (participants contribute according to their means).
Duration: approx. 3 hours 45 minutes. Easy route on footpaths.
