Tango recital at the Maison Rousseau — Sunday, June 14, 2026 — 5:00 PM

Music—the noblest of the arts, according to Borges—has been present in his work from the very beginning and has, in turn, also influenced it.
Tango is, without a doubt, the genre with which he interacted the most. The most extraordinary result of these interactions is undoubtedly the album El tango, which includes three milongas, three tangos, and a suite with lyrics by Borges, music by Astor Piazzolla, and vocals by Edmundo Rivero.
This performance by the group “…Y su Orquesta Quartette” will feature some of these milongas, as well as others set to music by Aníbal Troilo, Carlos Guastavino, and Eladia Blázquez.
This event is organized by the association Los conjuradoswww.losconjurados.ch as part of its BORGES 2026 project, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Argentine writer’s death in Geneva.
