From May 6 to 29, the WRP Foundation is presenting a dual exhibition featuring artist Eliane Gygi and designer Maria Spada, winner of the Light'Up mentoring program.

In Eliane Gygi’s work, matter becomes light and the gaze is set in motion. A painter, ceramicist, and glass artist, Gygi has been developing a distinctive body of work centered on glass and mirrors since the 1980s, creating compositions that evoke contemporary frescoes, whose visual style and technique are reminiscent of mosaics.
Her paintings play on a subtle balance between presence and absence. The colors, bold and luminous, are arranged in fragments that capture and diffuse light. These vibrant zones are counterbalanced by spaces of silence, where the mirror, left bare, invites the viewer to see their reflection. The work thus becomes a space for interaction: it is not merely to be looked at; it includes the one who contemplates it.
Alongside her work with glass, Eliane Gygi has developed a painting practice centered on imaginary architectural compositions. Her paintings depict clusters of asymmetrical houses set within landscapes of bold colors. These structured constructions create a world that is both familiar and dreamlike.
The exhibition invites visitors to explore this universe of contrasts and resonances, where color, light, and reflection are in constant dialogue, opening up a sensitive space between reality and imagination.
In a second section, the exhibition also features the winner of the Light’Up mentorship program, Maria Spada. On this occasion, she presents a new collection of architectural jewelry, including the Brutal Swiss series, which pays homage to Swiss architecture.
A journey through the ages—from the fortifications of Geneva to the masterpieces of Zumthor and Botta—where every architectural element is carefully reimagined.
