Octave Courtin, Les Concertantes, Prélude
Octave Courtin builds his own instruments and then augments them with electro-mechanical elements. The result is a small ensemble scattered through space. Animated by an artificial breath, the pouches inflate, the pipes stir, becoming curious creatures emitting sonorities that are by turns long and harmonious, thunderous or jerky.
