With Kolinga, Rébecca M’Boungou’s voice immediately opens up a vibrant space, where intimacy becomes both the driving force and raw material. Her music moves forward in a free fusion of pop, Congolese rumba, soul, jazz, and hip-hop, all blending together effortlessly. Alongside guitarist Arnaud Estor and drummer Jérôme Martineau Ricotti, she crafts songs that strike with their sincerity and movement, like echoes capable of stitching back together what the world has scattered.
