Documents d’artistes Genève presents “Five Years, Stuck on My Eyes”, marking five years of commitment to the contemporary art scene in Geneva.

**Five Years, Stuck on My Eyes**
On April 16, 2021, Documents d’artistes Genève (DDA Genève) was founded. Five years later, on April 16, 2026, the exhibition *“Five Years, Stuck on My Eyes”* opens to mark five years of commitment to the contemporary art scene in Geneva.
*Five Years, Stuck on My Eyes*—a title borrowed from David Bowie (*Five Years*, 1972)—can be understood as both a statement and a tribute to the artists who, through their collaborations, shape the identity of Documents d’artistes Genève.
On the occasion of this anniversary, Documents d’artistes Genève presents a three-part exhibition, a capsule exhibition, and an expanded public program of talks aimed at highlighting the many branches of its network. Three curatorial perspectives intersect within the spaces of Le Commun: those of Marie Bassano, Jill Gasparina, and Caroline Honorien. The curatorial team is further complemented by curator Laurence Favez for the capsule exhibition at Olizane – Espace d’art contemporain.
Each of these curatorial approaches engages with contemporary issues in a sensitive and committed way, while also embodying different ways of “building networks.” More than 40 artists affiliated with Documents d’artistes Genève and with Documents d’artistes from other regions will present their work and take part in this event.
