Organized by HEM’s Music and Movement Department, the “Freaky Friday” series shines a spotlight on improvisation during participatory and convivial evenings. Each evening begins with a “carte blanche” given to one or more guest musicians and dancers, followed by an open stage for theatrical improvisation. A master-of-ceremonies referee hosts the event and invites the audience to evaluate the participants’ performances. An evening full of humor, imagination, and playful fun.
