Guided tour

14 creators of Art Brut are exhibited at MIR until June 1, 2025 in their relationship with the afterlife. Far from the usual codes and aesthetics, these outsiders bring together the rational and the spiritual.
A coffin in the shape of a giant rooster, an embroidered dress designed to join a deceased person in the afterlife, purple and carmine stains to dialogue with spirits, a tormented evocation of the Book of Revelation by the founder of the Red Cross... These are just some of the works to be discovered in this commented tour.
Lucienne Peiry, art historian, Art Brut specialist and former director of the Art Brut collection in Lausanne, offers monthly guided tours of this exceptional exhibition.
