Humor: Julien Doquin de Saint Preux
"The procrastination of a man with an empty stomach"
As part of the Plan-les-Ouates Cultural Season 2025-2026.
"I'm hungry. I want to mop up a meal. Humanity will probably never be able to do better than mop up a meal. What if I went to a restaurant? Which one? The little dive downstairs? The traditional brasserie that smells of stale food? Or that new restaurant near the train station? So many choices, so many chances of being disappointed... And why not have it delivered? Asian? Peruvian? Italian?
I want to mop up a meal. But, at almost 40, it might be time to eat healthier... But why? To live longer? What if I let myself be carried away by chance? Maybe that's the right idea... except that... missing a meal is missing a part of your life. Asian? Peruvian? Italian?
That's the question I was asking myself, until a bigger decision awaited me... Julien, are you ready to have a child? I'm hungry."
