Humour : Marc Donnet-Monay
One man show : "Alouette"
As part of the Plan-les-Ouates Cultural Season 2025-2026.
"His highly polished and rhythmic writing serves his extremely effective British-caustic-trash humor." Christian Scheidt
Twelve years after his last one-man show and after experimenting with other forms of performance, Marc Donnet-Monay returns to his first love. And rest assured, he hasn't really changed: it's still the same blend of tenderness, self-deprecation, and sometimes dark humor, all his own. The most British of Swiss comedians draws inspiration from the events he has encountered and the people he has met to create moments of madness or reflections on life, on our existences, halfway between comedy and drama.
Who are we really? How do we react in most of the situations we face? With the heart, with the head? This show is a survival manual, the one Marc has always wanted to do. He had to wait until he was ready.
It's now done, and the phlegmatic dicoder, capable of hilarious outbursts of anger and unexpected emotional outbursts, will land on stage like a small, precariously poised lark, to give us a timeless and feel-good moment.
