FARAJ SULEIMAN

Born in 1984, Faraj Suleiman is a Palestinian pianist and composer recognized among his peers in the Arab world as one of the best. His original compositions are influenced by Arab and Eastern culture, with modal music, jazz, and tango. The musician, trained in classical Arabic music, seeks to reach "Eastern ears" with his compositions. Always placing the piano at the center of his work, Faraj Suleiman has composed for solo piano, quartets, quintets, piano and female voices, and piano for orchestra.
