Evening announcing the first names and visual for JazzContreBand 2026 – cross-border festival

FLOATING - ÉMILE PARISIEN, YARON HERMAN, PRABHU EDOUARD ET FLORENT NISSE

Émile Parisien is taking advantage of his two-year residency at the TCI to search for new combinations of flavours. Pianist Yaron Herman, chief improviser, is naturally drawn to this promise of alchemy. A disciple of Shankar Ghosh, Prabhu Edouard has accompanied the great names of Indian music; today he is one of the most eclectic tabla players, providing rare flavours that have already seduced Jordi Savall, Jeff Mills and Magic Malik. Double bassist Florent Nisse will be joining the band.

In the first half, Swiss pianist Manon Mullener, a rising star on the new European scene, will open the evening with a solo performance.
Her playing, nourished by jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms and a keen sense of melody, reveals a musician who is already very confident in her own skin.
