Listen to stories from those who face everyday racism on a daily basis. Library. Saturday, March 21, starting at 11 a.m. Free, upon registration

The voices of living books invite you on a sensitive and introspective journey, at the crossroads of art, psychology, and human encounter. This experience invites you to explore the impact of everyday racism while questioning our collective imaginations. Here, listening is central: we let ourselves be carried away by the stories, then we reflect.
This event is part of Action Week Against Racism and the Clichés Renversés – L’impact des récits (Reversed Clichés – The Impact of Stories) project, led by the APPE Association.
Installation design: Natalia Tokunbo Chojnacka
Registration mandatory
The Living Library consists of a tour of three complementary areas, taking approximately one hour in total:
1. Screening area Film ‘Clichés Renversés’ (2023) by Natalia Tokunbo Chojnacka (in french only)
2. Living Books area The “books” — people who experience everyday discrimination and share their experiences — reveal chapters of their stories without immediately revealing themselves.
3. Immersion area An interactive installation allows visitors to see and feel the impact of microaggressions. This area also provides an opportunity for discussion between the public and the speakers.
