Philippe Croizon, a 26-year-old metalworker, never imagined his life would change forever on March 5, 1994. That day, the young father received three electric shocks of 20,000 volts while attempting to dismantle a TV antenna attached to the chimney of his house. After two months in a coma, he woke up having lost all four limbs.
Thus began what he calls his “second life”, a journey that allowed him to overcome his disability, meet his partner Suzana Sabino, and accomplish extraordinary sporting feats, including swimming across the English Channel in less than 24 hours.
