Joel and Clementine can only see the painful side of their turbulent love story, to the point that Clementine decides to erase every memory of their relationship. Devastated, Joel contacts the inventor of the Lacuna procedure, Dr. Mierzwiak, to have all memories of Clementine removed from his mind as well.
