Come and take a look at these extraordinary plants and learn how to look after them

It stings! Come and discover these plants you don't want to get your hands on as you explore the Botanical Garden's greenhouses. Why do cacti have funny shapes and spines everywhere? And is this plant, which looks just like it, really a cactus? Become a succulent plant expert with our super gardener.
This workshop is part of the Geneva Botanic Garden Ateliers verts series. On Wednesday afternoons, children are invited to share our passion for the world of plants and botany in a fun and educational way. Themed investigations, sensory discoveries, botanical explorations, and many other activities are included in the programme. These workshops are carried out in the heart of our living collections by our curators, gardeners and scientists, in collaboration with volunteers from Uni3, Geneva's University for Seniors.
