The Green Film Festival, cinema for a sustainable future

Green Film Festival: The Power to Act
📆 March 13 to April 1, 2026
The Geneva Green Film Festival returns from March 13 to April 1, 2026, in more than ten venues across Geneva.
With a focus on optimism, this 21st edition offers 34 films that invite us to think differently, question our habits, and imagine desirable futures. More than 40 speakers will also come together to discuss biodiversity, activism, sustainable development, and our consumption patterns... but also to dream, learn, and share.
This year, the festival is honoring works that shine a light on individuals and groups committed to positive and concrete environmental solutions.
People who take action every day to reduce their impact at work (Éclaireurs), citizens who invent new forms of mobility (La nouvelle aventure mobile), and teachers who organize music festivals (Une chanson pour ma terre).
Other films showcase collective mobilization: the Elders for Climate (Too Hot), collectives defending their rights against Swiss multinationals (Power and Resistance), and videographers documenting those who protect nature (The Living Defends Itself).
All these films—and many others: (In)Action, Éclaireurs de la biodiversité, The Good Story, Le Chant de la terre, and more—open up new perspectives and remind us that there are always ways to take action. Solutions to embrace, share, and grow together.
Come and discover, discuss, be inspired, and explore concrete ways to bring about positive change in your daily life.
The price of tickets depends on the screening chosen.
