A performance based on texts by Marguerite Duras and music from the past and present.

A performance based on texts by Marguerite Duras and music from yesterday and today.
There’s no need to have seen the first two installments: each one stands on its own.
“You see, sometimes I used to write articles for newspapers. From time to time I wrote for the outside world, when the outside world overwhelmed me, when there were things that drove me crazy, outside, on the street—or when I had nothing better to do. It happened (...) One more thing. I was quite wrong. I claim that right.” M. D.
After taking flight in October 2025 in Marsillon, in a beautifully renovated barn, then making a stop at Athénée 4 in February 2026, a former chapel converted into an event hall, this highway of speech is now heading to Le Pneu, the performance hall at the Vélodrome (a self-managed arts and crafts space located in the heart of Geneva’s Jonction district).
There you will discover texts by Marguerite Duras—evoking politics, social issues, love, and death—set to music from yesterday and today.
