The meeting place for plant lovers.

At the heart of the Geneva Botanic Garden, the “Petit marché aux plantes” brings together local growers for a friendly day dedicated to gardening.
Fruit and vegetable seedlings, heirloom varieties, perennials, summer bulbs, herbs, citrus plants, trees and shrubs: a rich selection awaits to bring your garden, balcony, or terrace to life.
Throughout the day, our gardeners will guide you in your choices and share their cultivation advice, particularly on organic gardening. It’s also an opportunity to discover our organic honey, produced at the heart of our living collections.
Younger visitors can try their hand at gardening during a potting workshop and take home their own basil seedling.
A selection of local and sustainable food options will be available on site.
To make it easier to transport your purchases, exhibitors will provide containers while supplies last. However, we encourage you to bring your own means of carrying your plants.
