Sure to compete with the famous second draft we all know "Hamlet, Draft 1" is a comedy pre-telling of Shakespeare's most philosophical drama. The plot centers around Horatio’s scheme to take over Denmark with Ophelia as his queen, and Hamlet as his dupe. But don't worry, there are still plenty of chances for murder most foul.
ABOUT THE PLAY: A 50 minute farcical comedy, Hamlet: Draft 1 is an original playlet written and directed by Gary Bird. It is showing in Geneva with proceeds going to charity before moving to compete in the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies (FEATS) 2026 in The Hague.
