Tour of the Canton of Geneva by Bike 2025: Four Routes to Ride Together Through Geneva's Municipalities

On August 24, 2025, TCS Geneva will host the 13th edition of the Tour of the Canton by Bike. This human-scale event is designed for participants to come together and share the joy of cycling.

For over twenty years, the Tour of the Canton of Geneva by Bike, organized by the Geneva Section of the Touring Club Switzerland, has brought together thousands of cyclists for a day of enjoyment, connection, and promotion of gentle mobility.

The 13th edition will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, starting from Place Louis-Favre in Chêne-Bourg. More than just a bike ride, this event offers the opportunity to ride in a group, experience the thrill of a mass start, and pedal without pressure in a warm and welcoming atmosphere accessible to everyone.

Four routes are available to suit different levels, traversing numerous Geneva municipalities:

  • P’tit Tour (19 km): Ideal for children, families, and beginners
  • Cantonade (38 km): A perfect loop for a convivial ride
  • Silver Route (84 km): Test your endurance in a small group
  • Gold Route (133 km): A sporting challenge for seasoned cyclists on a stimulating course

The strength of this event lies in its non-competitive format, shared moments on the road, organized refreshment stations, an activity village at the finish, and above all, the desire to demonstrate that cycling is a genuine way to experience the canton simply and joyfully.

Accessible to classic, electric, or leisure bikes, the Tour of the Canton also serves as an opportunity to introduce the canton’s cycling routes to those who may not always dare to venture out alone.

Staggered departures between 7:30 am and 10:30 am, depending on the chosen route. All registered participants will receive a participation diploma and a souvenir.

  • Advance Registration Fees (until August 22 at 12:00 pm):
