The Orchestre de Lancy-Genève conducted by Roberto Sawicki, will present a colorful concert to joyfully celebrate the arrival of spring, with the participation of the Chorale du Châble , conducted by Eliane Gruaz, and the brilliant soloists Anna Orlik on violin and on cello.
The program includes excerpts from Smetana's quartet “From My Life” and the joyful “Dance of the Comedians.” Rhythmic vitality and colorful orchestrations open the doors to a world of timeless charm and celebration. Combining lyricism and virtuosity, the soloists will perform Dvorak's moving Romance for violin and the charming Rondo for cello.
Choral works by Michael Haydn, César Franck, Karl Jenkins, and others from the popular music of Asia and Latin America will bring varied and fresh notes to this spring concert.
