Our musicians love sharing one of the brightest programmes in their repertoire, consisting of works by Mozart. His writing is marked by lightness, clarity, and an incredible sense of joy. This is the kind of concert you leave with a smile. Imagine the warm atmosphere: the audience close to the stage, the energy of live strings, and music that sparkles with happiness — familiar melodies you know and love, performed with a real sense of momentum. After all, Mozart could truly rock, and we can’t wait to show just how electrifying he can be.
Mozart composed Little Night Serenade — one of his most famous and recognisable works — in Vienna on 10 August 1787. This time — between The Marriage of Figaro and the last three symphonies — was the heyday of his talent. Some sources suggest he may have dedicated it to his wife, Constanze, for their fifth wedding anniversary. Whatever the story, the music of the Serenade, with its beauty, grace and unique sound, still does not cease to excite the hearts of listeners!
