On 8 May, we celebrate the millions of volunteers and humanitarian workers around the world who choose to dedicate themselves to helping others.

To mark World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, the Museum will be hosting information stands and activities for adults and children throughout the weekend. Come and meet the Movement’s volunteers and celebrate together the humanitarian values that unite us.
The programme:
Friday 8 May: Solidarity Day.
Admission to the Museum is at a reduced rate and every ticket purchased generates a ‘suspended ticket’, the proceeds of which will be donated to our partner organisations.
Saturday 9 May: Open Day
Free admission to the Museum. Family tours, the humanitarian trail, storytelling for children and a round-table discussion on humanitarianism and communism await you.
Sunday 10 May: Solidarity Sunday
Admission to the Museum is at a reduced rate and every ticket purchased generates a “suspended ticket”, the proceeds of which will be donated to our partner organisations. Join us for the conference on the REDOGS and round off the weekend with brunch at Café HINIVUU.
