Theater—an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet

Valeria, an actress on the decline and well into her fifties, decides to go for broke. She takes on the most famous play in the Western repertoire.
Hamlet.
Nothing less.
She casts Dylan, a young actor who just graduated from acting school—barely—in the role of the prince. Fresher. More free-spirited. A version of herself… but better? The question remains open.
Surrounding them are five performers of all ages. As rehearsals progress, the boundaries between “real life” and fiction begin to blur. Doubts creep in. Fears too. Jealousy, frustration: the cast is complete.
Very quickly, the relationships between the performers begin to closely mirror those of the characters.
Will they succeed in staging Hamlet… or will reality take over? That is the question.
