In August 2026, Geneva will host one of the major moments of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.

As part of the Grand Départ Suisse, the city will welcome both a stage finish and a stage start, with a spectacular setting between the lake, the Jet d’Eau, the waterfront and the summer atmosphere.

The Aigle–Geneva stage finish is set to be one of the standout images of the 2026 edition. The riders are expected on the Quai du Mont-Blanc, with the Jet d’Eau as a dramatic backdrop.
For visitors, it will be a chance to experience the excitement of a stage finish in one of Geneva’s most iconic settings, between lake, mountains and city landmarks.
The next day, Geneva will once again take centre stage as the race starts towards Poligny. The departure is planned from Plainpalais, a central and easily accessible area of the city.
This gives Geneva a special role in the Grand Départ Suisse: not just a stop along the route, but a place where visitors can enjoy both the emotion of a finish and the energy of a new stage start.

During the two days of the Tour in Geneva, on August 2 and 3, 2026, a fan zone will invite visitors to enjoy the event atmosphere beyond the race itself. Entertainment, a festive setting and food trucks will accompany the stage finish and start, bringing the spirit of the Tour to the heart of the city.
Whether you are visiting with family, friends or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it will be a great opportunity to enjoy a lively and welcoming moment before, during and after the race.
Watching the Tour de France Femmes in Geneva is about more than cycling. It is a chance to discover the city at its most vibrant, see the world’s best riders race by the lake and enjoy a lively summer stay in the heart of Geneva.
