Review: "Long before Nick Park created Wallace and Gromit, there was another brilliant and zany inventor in cinema, capable of building the most incredible machines one could imagine: Mr Bricolo, created in the 1920s by Charles R. Bowers, who played the character himself. Whilst Mr Bricolo/Charley Bowers is less well-known than other stars of slapstick cinema (Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd), his films are no less funny and poetic." Benshi
