Three cities in the Grand Départ Switzerland !
Over a distance of more than 300 km, 108 Swiss municipalities will see the runners pass through between August 1 and 3, 2026.
Three cities in French-speaking Switzerland are among the stops on the competition route:

• The cyclists will set off from Lausanne on August 1, 2026, for a 138-kilometer loop stage.
• The following day, downtown Aigle will host the start of the second stage, which will cover 149 km to the city of Geneva arriving in Quai du Mont Blanc.
• On August 3, the cyclists will set off from Geneva Plaine de Plainpalais and head toward Poligny, France.

Many events leading up to the Grand Départ
Several events are planned between now and August 1, 2026, the date of the Grand Départ Switzerland.
On May 30 and 31, the "Fête du Tour" will take place in the three cities hosting the Grand Départ Switzerland. Each city will offer a unique program, including introductory sessions, exhibitions, and bike sales.
